Postdoktorand/in
The position "Postdoc" as such does not exist as an official position name in Germany, however, many researchers refer in their English CV's to their respective position as one. Postdocs are normally "Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter/innen" - ideally working on a Habilitation - or "Juniorprofessor/innen". After some work experience, sometimes also as "Junior Research Group Leaders".

Die Position "Postdoktorand/in" existiert als solche nicht als offizielle Positionsbezeichnung in Deutschland. Viele Forscher/innen bezeichnen ihre jeweilige Position als solche in ihren englischsprachigen Lebensläufen. Postdoktorand/inn/en sind normalerweise Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter/innen - idealerweise an einer Habilitation arbeitend - oder Juniorprofessor/innen. Nach etwas Berufserfahrung teilweise auch als Nachwuchsgruppenleiter/innen.
