Description

The "doctorant CIFRE" is is a young master's degree graduate recruited by a company with an open-ended contract or a 3-year fixed-term contract. 

  • Status: PhD student of a company partner of the university in which he is enrolled in a doctorate
  • Institutions concerned: universities and companies, associations, local authorities or consular chambers
  • Duties: the partner company entrusts the PhD student with a strategic research mission for its socio-economic development, the clauses of which are laid down in the contract. Candidates for a CIFRE undertake to prepare and defend a thesis to obtain the degree of doctor. They therefore undertake to register, throughout the CIFRE, in an accredited institution to issue the doctoral degree.
  • Rights: the employee-PhD candidate is supervised on the one hand by a scientific tutor appointed by the employer and on the other hand by a thesis director who is a member of a public research laboratory until the defense of the thesis. 
  • Salary range: minimum monthly gross salary 1 957 € (30/01/2018)
  • Evaluation: The employer sends ANRT an interim activity report presenting the progress of the thesis work at the end of the 12th and 24th months of the CIFRE. Each of these reports is written by the doctoral student according to the model provided by the ANRT. It is co-signed by the scientific tutor, the thesis supervisor and the doctoral student.

  • Statut : doctorant salarié d'une entreprise partenaire de l'université dans laquelle il est inscrit en doctorat
  • Institutions concernées : universités et entreprises, associations, collectivités territoriales ou chambres consulaires
  • Obligations : l'entreprise partenaire confie au doctorant une mission de recherche stratégique pour son développement socio-économique dont les clauses sont fixées dans le contrat. Les candidats à une CIFRE s’engagent à préparer et à soutenir une thèse pour obtenir le grade de docteur. Ils s’engagent donc à s’inscrire, tout au long de la CIFRE, dans
    un établissement accrédité à délivrer le diplôme de docteur.
  • Droits : Le salarié-doctorant est encadré d’une part par un tuteur scientifique désigné par l’employeur et d’autre part par un directeur de thèse membre d'un laboratoire public de recherche jusqu'à la soutenance de la thèse. 
  • Fourchette de salaire : salaire mensuel brut minimum 1 957 € par mois (30/01/2018).
  • Évaluation: L’employeur adresse à l’ANRT un rapport d’activité intermédiaire présentant l’avancement des travaux de thèse au terme des 12e et 24e mois de la CIFRE. Chacun de ces rapports est rédigé par le doctorant selon le modèle fourni par l’ANRT. Il est cosigné par le tuteur scientifique, le directeur de thèse et le doctorant.
