Description
  • Status: primarily teaching position  not on permanent contract, often part-time, not for more than 420 hours in an academic year.
  • Institutions concerned: higher Education institutions
  • GradesGrade 6
  • Duties: An Associate Lecturer is asked to give casual lecturing, generally in a short notice, supervising and marking the work of students, and undertaking a range of associated administrative responsibilities. 
  • Salary range: £32,000 - £39,000 a year or hourly paid at Grade 6 of the nationally agreed Pay spine.
