Description
  • Status: A postdoc is a PhD graduate working on a research project generally funded by a national or international grant and under the supervision of a professor, the principal investigator (PI) of the project. Postdoc is a transitory position (a stepping stone)  to a more stable position. A postdoc is a fixed-term position (generally between 1 and 3 years).
  • Institutions concerned: higher education institutions (HEIs)
  • Duties: the duties are described in the job offer and in the contract, but could cover research and administration tasks.
  • Salary range: the average postdoc salary is around 30K (per year).
